About

I’m Ed Baskerville, and this is my web site. I’m currently a Ph.D student in the department of Ecology & Evolutionary Biology at the University of Michigan, where I will be for, well, the foreseeable future. In previous lives, I spent most of my time as a software engineer (sometimes doing work related to ecology) and as a musician. I’ll continue wearing these other hats from time to time.

    Dear Ed,
I’m playing with a growing xgrid cluster in our lab and I really appreciate your tool xgridlite. Just out of curiosity I’d like to look at the source code, and even maybe compile it for Snow Leopard, as I have just upgraded :)
    When I try this:
    svn co http://code.edbaskerville.com/svn/xgridlite xgridlite
    It says:
svn: Repository moved permanently to ‘http://edbaskerville.com/svn/xgridlite’; please relocate

Then I put this new address and it still doesn’t work. Could you please enlighten me, how to access it?
    Thanks
    Beat

    Hi Beat,

Ah, yes, I’m in the midst of switching my stuff over to git, so that URL will never again work. I’ll post a zip of the source—if you don’t see it by Monday, bug me again.
